An international church sounded refreshing to us and we wanted to see what our city had to offer. Immediately we enjoyed the songs this church chose to sing, and the message came right out of the scriptures. As the service went on, we quickly realized that a group of Pastors from all over the world were visiting. They had come to take part in a seminar during the week. The speaker introduced the Pastors and while we listened, Bonita and I decided to get to know them right after the service. We both looked forward to seeing who we all knew in common, especially after getting to know people all around the world.
Igor Fedorovych
Igor Fedorovych introduced himself as a Pastor from Kyiv, Ukraine. We quickly discovered that we had people in common. Someone we both knew worked at the same seminary in Kyiv with which Igor was working together. We told him about our work with Ukrainians in Germany and Canada. And we also mentioned to him that we had 200 hundred copies of Journey with Joseph through Advent in his language. Igor was leaving for Kyiv right after the seminar and was excited to take the books into Ukraine with him. He shared with us about the need for the gospel during this very crucial time and how people loved to have material in the Ukrainian language. He was excited to introduce our book to his youth pastor and also work through it with his own family. Read yourself what Igor wrote us about his experience with his family.
