Haiti
Luke Perkins and his family moved to Haiti during the time that my wife Bonita and I left. He has been teaching at the STEP Bible Seminary during his time there. But he also saw during his time how the country of Haiti that we knew turned into the Haiti that we have no idea about anymore. Some of you know, that Haiti went through a change during which its president got killed and lots of power is now in the hands of gangs. Many organizations and people have left Haiti as the insecurity took its toll. When Luke Perkins and his family left Haiti, they literally left while the airport was on fire. A country with its people we love is in pain. You can review Luke Perkins’ journey in Haiti on his YouTube channel, sad but also encouraging.
